Integrative Healing Arts Program
Session One: Holistic Practice and the Nurse Healer
Session One Programs begin on Thursday evening at 5pm (dinner included)
and conclude on Sunday at 1:30pm (lunch included)
The Integrative Healing Arts Program is an opportunity to
revitalize your nursing practice and rejuvenate your body,
mind and spirit. Integral with the learning experience is
the inclusion of time for inner reflection, relaxation and
connection to a supportive community of nurses.
Session One provides 23 contact hours. Participants who wish
to achieve a Certificate in Integrative Nursing can continue
by completing Sessions Two, Three and Four sessions.
The program will be held at 2 locations: Angels'
Rest Retreat and Conference Center at the edge of the
Berkshire Mountains in Leyden, MA. Angel's Rest Retreat is an
exquisite mountaintop retreat on 20 acres, with walking trails,
hammocks, decks, gardens, a seasonal pool, 2 hot tubs, an
indoor koi pond, fireplace, and a magnificent vaulted ceiling teaching space that looks out on the valley. It is truly an amazing and sacred spot. Rooms
are pristine and decorated with natural art. Meals are gourmet
and include vegetarian options. Special dietary needs are
accommodated with 2 weeks advance notice and are $25.00 extra. Gentle yoga class is included in the tuition cost. Massage and energy treatments
will be available at an extra charge. This is a place to truly
nurture your body and soul. Carmel Retreat and Conference Center is located in the Ramapo Mountain area of Northern NJ, easily accessible from NYC and PA. This 30 acre site is a quiet oasis of natural beauty to soothe your body, mind and spirit. Modern amenities are found in a stunning 100 year old estate property that offers amazing views. Carmel Retreat offers walking trails, gardens, an outdoor koi pond, fireplaces, and numerous locations for quiet reflection. Rooms are pristine and comfortable. Meals include vegetarian options. Directions will be provided with confirmation letter upon
receipt of registration. Please register early. Space is
limited.

Program Costs:
$625.00 registration and includes tuition, materials, contact hours, yoga class,meals and lodging.
Refund policy: Program refunds
minus a $100.00 processing fee are issued up to two weeks before the program
with written notice. Refunds are not issued after two weeks
or later unless there is a wait-list for the program
and the program spot is filled. Submission of registration
implies registrant has read and understood program
information and refund policies.
Cancellation Policy: The BirchTree
Center reserves the right to cancel the program. In
the event of cancellation all registration funds are
returned to registrants. This is the extent of any
liability on the part of The BirchTree Center, Inc.
