 Barbara
Joyce Ph.D, RN is a Clinical Specialist in Psychiatric
- Mental Health and Holistic Nursing. She is the creator and
founder of Hestia's Hearth - Center for the Conscious Creation
of Unity, dedicated to the expansion of a healing consciousness
on the planet through the work of the Divine Feminine. As
a Professor and former Chairperson of the Graduate Nursing
Programs at The College of New Rochelle, she co-created the
first masters degree program in Holistic Nursing in the country.
She has been in private practice for thirty years as a psychotherapist
for children and adults integrating relaxation, imagery, meditation,
dreamwork, Therapeutic
Touch and Polarity Therapy. She also currently conducts
workshops and retreats for the unfolding of women's consciousness.
She is a lecturer, consultant, author and is a Past-President
of the New York State Nurses Association.
